Residents who need additional support are cared for in The High Dependency Unit (HDU) which was opened in early 2004. Fully integrated into the home it is staffed by specialist carers with the relevant expertise and experience as well as being housed in an environment that is both safe and comfortable. Residents can be admitted directly to the HDU or transferred from within Springview as their needs evolve.
